Beekeeping: It's History and the Honey Making Process - NEW DATE

Wednesday, February 21, 2024

Come out of hibernation for Newtown Square Historical Society's program  by master beekeeper Warren Graham,  on Beekeeping, its History and the Honey Making Process.

Warren grew up on a farm on the grounds of what is now Ridley Creek State Park. He hails from a long family line of beekeepers and after attending the University of Pennsylvania, and working on local estates, he returned to the park to live in one of the historic homes there with his wife Ceil Mann, and pursues beekeeping full time.

He offers an in depth glimpse into beekeeping, the history and honey making process. Also on hand will be Newtown's own Environmental Advisory Committee with information on native pollinator plants.

Join us for a break from Winter!
