Leaf Collection in Zone #1 POSTPONED

Due to the weather and small amounts of leaves that have fallen so far this October, the first leaf collection in Zone #1 is being postponed until Monday, November 7, 2022.

All other scheduled leaf collection days will remain the same.  Only the first collection in Zone #1 (comprised of the 8th precinct and the portion of the 5th precinct east of Route 252) which was scheduled for today (Monday, October 24th) is being postponed.  As a reminder, the following is the schedule to have your leaves ready for pickup for the remainder of the leaf collection season:

  • Monday, October 31st - Zone 2
  • Monday, November 7th - Zone 1 and Zone 3
  • Monday, November 14th - Zone 4

  • Monday, November 28th – Zone 1
  • Monday, December 5th – Zone 2
  • Monday, December 12th – Zone 3
  • Monday, December 19th – Zone 4

A Map of the Leaf Collection Zones can be found here as well as on the Public Works Leaf Collection Page

Public Works checked in Zone #1 early Monday morning and found only a small number of piles of leaves prepared due to the delayed leaf drop and the weather over the weekend.   Those piles will be picked up today.   The full Zone #1 collection will take place on Monday, November 7th

Please see the Public Works Leaf Collection Page for detailed information and instructions regarding the collection of leaves, daily reports, etc.  We will also post news and updates on that web page.
