[ARCHIVED] Message from the PA Game Commission Regarding Investigation of Bird Deaths

Wildlife health experts from the Wildlife Futures Program (WFP) at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet) and officials from the Pennsylvania Game Commission are investigating more than 70 general public reports representing 27 Pennsylvania Counties of songbirds that are sick or dying due to an emerging health condition that is presently unknown.

Please read the attached News Release from the Pennsylvania Game Commission for information on their investigation of this matter, who to report information to if you find an infected bird, and 5 precautionary measures that they are encouraging the public to take until more is known.
