[ARCHIVED] AQUA Water Line Installation Work on Gradyville Road

Please see the below Letter to Residents of Gradyville Road from AQUA Pennsylvania regarding their water main installation work on that road in Newtown Township.

Key information from this letter includes:

Aqua Pennsylvania will begin the installation of 3,200 feet of new 12 & 8-inch ductile iron water main on Gradyville Road between Stoney Brook Road and S. Newtown Street Road in Newtown Township on Thursday April 9, 2020.

Construction will generally take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. However, crews might need to work beyond 4 p.m. and on Saturdays in some cases. As discussed with Newtown Township, access will be provided for emergency, mail and trash service. Residents will have access to their properties, but at times will need to enter from different directions due to changing work zones.

Aqua will have an inspector on the job each day to answer your questions.

Our employees and contractors are implementing the social distancing and hygiene practices encouraged by the Centers for Disease Control and other agencies. Should you encounter our crews and other employees, please maintain social distancing for your own safety as well as that of our crews. The work we are continuing is recognized as critical and our employees throughout the state are working 24/7 to answer your calls, respond to emergencies and maintain uninterrupted water service.

Please be aware of this work, and plan your travels in and around the area accordingly.  Always be safe while travelling through or near a work zone.  The letter below contains much additional information for the residents in that location.
