  1. Newtown Square Neighbors Festival and 5K Run

    September 21, 2019, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Ellis Preserve

    The 5k kicks off at 11 a.m., is open to all ages and will be chip-timed by Bryn Mawr Running Company. All 5k participants will receive entry to the race, and an event t-shirt. No bikes or roller blades will be permitted along the route. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign a waiver for them, as well as everyone who is participating will have to sign a waiver. The Pints on the Square Fest will be open from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. All Festival participants will receive a tasting glass, entrance to the festival with unlimited tastings, live music, and access to local food vendors. The Brew Fest is a 21+ event. All persons entering the Brew Fest area will be required to present a valid government-issued ID. No children, strollers, babies, pets or weapons of any kind will be permitted at the brew fest. *All proceeds from this event will benefit the Newtown Square Fire Company, a 501(c)3 Organization.

  1. Residential Recycling Collection - Zone #2

    Residential single-stream recycling collections occur from each home twice every month. On the Public Works "Recycling" page you can see materials that can be recycled, a map with schedule, household hazardous waste collection information and other important recycling information. Collections begin at 7:00 a.m. on your recycling day, so be sure to have your materials out before that. In the event of a missed pick-up, please call customer service at J.P. Mascaro & Sons at 800-432-1616. Be sure to identify that you are from Newtown Township in Delaware County. For all other recycling questions you may call or email Newtown Township directly.
